This botanically themed brooch of creative design and immaculate craftsmanship epitomizes the 1950's renaissance of 'Naturalism' which was depicted in numerous magnificent creations of Van Cleef & Arpels. Designed as a lapel brooch with two pins on reverse, this fascinating VCA Vintage Brooch depicts an assemblage of randomly scrolled, suspending and diamond-encrusted wild foliage inspired profiles, swathed in 2.08cts of high quality full-cut diamonds graded H color and VS clarity range, complemented by 15 round turquoise cabochons measuring 3.5-4mm in diameter. The latter are asymmetrically juxtaposed, hence remaining open to interpretation as simulating wild fruits or buds. The reverse features a fur-pin, one of which is secured with a security clasp, offering versatility of wear as a lapel brooch.
