A substantial width shank and diamond-studded shoulders and gallery add sparkle to this very noticeable and simple but ornate pavé diamond engagement ring setting which can show-off your certified-white just as well as your un-certified brown, whether your preference is to blend into the doughnut or color contrast with it. Of course, if diamonds aren't your penchant, a colored stone such as ruby, sapphire, emerald or aquamarine would look equally fabulous.
