This antique Victorian gold, diamond, sapphire, ruby and emerald pocket watch weighs exactly 62g and measures 2.25" long, 40mm wide and 13mm deep. The border of this 14k yellow gold, closed face pocket watch is exquisitely decorated with nautilus shells. During the Victorian era, shells were often portrayed as symbols of royalty and beauty and were highly fashionable. Centrally located on the front side of the watch are several small natural stones placed in what appears to be a painter's palate. Centrally bead-set are a .04ct old mine-cut diamond graded F color and VS clarity, a .05ct cushion-cut red ruby of 'very good' clarity, a .05ct cushion-cut blue sapphire of matching grading and a .04ct cushion-cut green emerald also of matching grading.
