Ring Setting Only?

This antique engagement ring in Edwardian style is crafted in solid 18k white gold, weighs 2.9g and measures 8mm wide and 7.5mm deep. Exuding classic elegance and refinement, this Edwardian style engagement ring is essentially positioned with a 1.06ct modern brilliant-cut diamond graded K color and VS1 clarity. The intriguing center stone is mounted within an immaculately pierced, multiple-prong crown setting incorporating gracefully elongated diamond-studded lozenge profiles. Exposed atop a curvaceous, diamond adorned gallery, the absorbing center stone is embraced by meticulously arched, shielded and artfully chased bejeweled shoulders. The latter complement the gallery and the crown setting cumulatively adorned with 0.16cts of single-cut diamonds graded J color and SI2 clarity. This alluring Edwardian style diamond engagement ring features a delicate white gold spherical band and an easily sizable shank.

The term 'Edwardian' refers to the jewelry style developed and cherished during the reign of King Edward in England, encompassing the period from 1901 to 1910. Edwardian designs were influenced by fine decorative motif and diamonds were of primary interest. Master craftsmen made increasing use of platinum to create an array of jewelry items featuring scalloped edges and openwork craftsmanship with fine mille graining.
