This Art Deco style necklace is composed of red coral and black onyx beads with sterling silver fittings weighs 270g and measures 24 inches long. In delightful color contrasting Deco style, this impressive and visually stunning necklace exposes a pair of identical floral arrangements each composed of two delightful flower heads of cinquefoil petals in 'rich-red' flat slab corals, the largest measuring 17mm long and 14mm wide. Complemented by faceted 'black' onyx beads, the largest of which measures 14mm long and 11mm wide, these delightful floral decors are mounted on four strands of coral beads graded 'deep red' color, measuring 5.5mm in diameter, by means of silver wire attached to a perforated rectangular clasp on reverse, to which trefoil, centrally positioned graduating strands are added. Magnificently coordinated, the latter beads measure 7.5", 12â, and 19" respectively, composed of alternately silver wire-strung burgundy coral beads and faceted black onyx. Suspending 'en tremblant' from this eye-catching trio of strands are a vivid-red flat slab coral from the upper strand, three slabs from the middle strand and seven slabs from the lower and the longest strand, surmounted by one to two black onyx beads, adjoined through delicate ringlets. An attractive pierced openwork sterling silver silhouette of rectangular format, embellished with heart-motif profiles and outfitted with four rings is mounted at each end of the necklace to which the coral beads are attached, secured with a well-constructed hook and a 2-inch long chain to allow limited length adjustment. This impressive and colorful Deco style necklace is cumulatively composed of 37 coral flat slabs, 70 faceted onyx beads and 406 burgundy coral beads.
The matching earrings complementing this intriguing necklace measure 1.50 inches long and 11mm wide, composed of one flat coral slab and one faceted black onyx strung on silver wire, designed 'en suite' to form an attractive 'demi-parure'.
