This Art Deco aquamarine ring with old mine-cut diamonds in antique style is crafted in lavish platinum, weighs 5.2g and measures 12.5mm wide and 6.5mm deep. In distinguished contrasting Deco style, this enchanting azure Art Deco style aquamarine ring exposes a significant, light-reflective prong-set 3.56ct oval-faceted aquamarine measuring 12.64mm long and 7.74mm wide, graded a most delightful 'lively pale-blue' color and 'excellent' clarity. Exposed atop an artistically pierced, asymmetrically themed open silhouette enhanced by meticulously scalloped borders, the captivating center-stone is flanked by diamond-studded ovular profiles, surmounted by romantically inspired ribbon-motif scrolls concluding with dainty Oriental arcade-inspired silhouettes. These exquisite profiles resembling artfully spread ribbons ornamenting a delicate basket securing this alluring azure gemstone, are cumulatively bead-set with 0.42cts of old mine-cut diamonds graded H color and VS clarity range. This classically elegant Deco style aquamarine ring of alluring icy-blue contrast and aesthetic grace features delicate mille grain edgework throughout and a spherical platinum band, concluding with an easily sizable shank.

Deriving its name from the Latin meaning ‘water and sea’, aquamarine is one of the most fascinating gemstones on our earth. Like emerald, it belongs to the beryl family and has a good hardness of 7 to 8 on Mohs’ scale. It is almost entirely free of inclusions and its color ranges from an indiscernible pale blue to a strong sea-blue. The pure, clear sky blue, however, continues to epitomize aquamarine bringing out the immaculate transparency and magnificent shine of this gemstone. Aquamarine is mined in Brazil, Kenya, Madagascar, Zambia, and Sri Lanka. The pastel blue color of aquamarine arouses feelings of sympathy, trust, harmony, and friendship, feelings, which prove their worth in lasting relationships. Since early times, aquamarine has been believed to endow the wearer with foresight, courage and happiness, it is also said to increase intelligence and make one youthful. As a healing stone, it is thought to be an effective treatment for anxiety. Aquamarine is the birthstone for the Scorpio sign of the zodiac.
