This Art Deco aquamarine ring with old mine-cut diamonds in antique style is crafted in lavish platinum, weighs 6.9g and measures 18mm wide and 7.5mm deep. In distinguished contrasting Deco style, this enchanting azure Art Deco aquamarine ring exposes a significant, light-reflective bezel-set 5.78ct oval-faceted aquamarine measuring 13.97mm long and 10.21mm wide, graded a most delightful 'lively light-blue' color and 'good' clarity, mounted within an ovular, finely mille grained platinum setting. This opulent, pastel-colored center-stone is centrally exposed on a gracefully dome-shaped, elaborately pierced, and diamond-encrusted plaque incorporating geometrically inspired lozenge, triangular and stylized kite-motif profiles. These alluring openwork silhouettes, extending to highly ornate tapering shoulders, are cumulatively bead-set with 0.70cts of fiery old mine-cut diamonds graded H color and VS2-SI1 clarity, accentuated with finely mille grained contours throughout. This intriguing Deco style aquamarine ring of exquisite aesthetic and craftsmanship features an asymmetrically pierced gallery, ornately mille grained and reeded shoulders, a spherical platinum band stamped with the purity mark '950' denoting platinum and an easily sizable shank.

Deriving its name from the Latin meaning ‘water and sea’, aquamarine is one of the most fascinating gemstones on our earth. Like emerald, it belongs to the beryl family and has a good hardness of 7 to 8 on Mohs’ scale. It is almost entirely free of inclusions and its color ranges from an indiscernible pale blue to a strong sea-blue. The pure, clear sky blue, however, continues to epitomize aquamarine bringing out the immaculate transparency and magnificent shine of this gemstone. Aquamarine is mined in Brazil, Kenya, Madagascar, Zambia, and Sri Lanka, the most valuable gems coming from Brazil. The pastel blue color of aquamarine arouses feelings of sympathy, trust, harmony, and friendship, feelings, which prove their worth in lasting relationships.
