This Art Nouveau ring with Russian demantoid green garnets is of Russian artisanship bearing the official Russian hallmark (1908-1917), constructed in 14k rose gold, weighs 2.4g and measures 16mm wide and 4mm deep. Epitomizing the sensual, fanciful and feminine Art Nouveau jewelry style, this very rare exquisite Art Nouveau ring of naturalistic inspiration exposes a trios of flowers rendered in line with the enchanting 'non-conformist' and innovative Art Nouveau style. The enchanting trio is mounted with 0.60cts of round faceted Russian demantoid green garnets measuring 3.5mm in diameter, graded 'vivid-chartreuse' color and 'very good' clarity. The latter are mounted within multiple-prong settings, surmounting a delicate stem, complemented by randomly inclined rose gold leaves, a diamond 'bud' and a dainty seed pearl measuring 1mm in diameter. The sparkling diamond bud consists of a fiery 0.20ct old mine-cut diamond graded K color and SI2 clarity. This fascinating original Russian Art Nouveau ring features a tapering rose gold band and an easily sizable shank bearing the two-digit zolotniks number '56' denoting 583 (14k purity) and the right-facing female profile indicating the period between 1908 and 1917.
