This Victorian men's signet ring is English, crafted in yellow gold and stamped '9ct', weighs 5.2g and measures 12mm wide and 2mm deep. In impressive, distinctly elegant and unmistakably masculine design, this authentic Victorian men's demantoid ring of elegant aesthetic exposes an absorbing shield-shaped plaque characteristic of Victorian signet rings. Rendered in polished yellow gold and intaglio engraved with an absorbing flower head, the latter is positioned 'en diagonal' on the shield panel, adorned with an alluring 0.03ct brilliant-cut demantoid green garnet graded 'vibrant yellowish-green' color and 'excellent' clarity. Skillfully hand-engraved stem and leaves complement the enchanting flower head. The plain polished gold surface of the shielded plaque is designed for engraving initials, family crests or coat of arms. The highly ornate shoulders depict a pair of delightful fleur-de-lis profiles rendered in repoussé gold leading to a spherical yellow gold band and an easily sizable shank.
