This Victorian nautical brooch with freshwater seed pearls is crafted in 14k yellow gold, weighs 7.9g and measures 5.7cm long, 19mm wide and 9mm deep. Lavish and highly elaborate in design, this authentic Victorian brooch of delightful aesthetic incorporates a pair of adjacent, inversely juxtaposed tapering plaques of hexagonal format, embellished at the wider finial with alluring gold beads. A number of 13 lustrous, temptingly beautiful Baroque fresh water seed pearls of 'white' color, measuring between 2mm and 3mm in diameter adorn the hexagonal panels, mounted within enchanting individual rosette-motif prong settings. This alluring assemblage of glittering yellow gold and iridescent white pearls is surmounted by an artistically designed anchor, recognized as a common symbol of hope, embellished with eight absorbing Baroque seed pearls within rosette mountings. This highly ornate symbol of hope is mounted 'en diagonal' atop the absorbing hexagonal plaque, entwined in a delicate corded wire rope. An original pin and C-clasp secure this enticing Victorian nautical brooch of exquisite aesthetic.
