This antique Victorian Etruscan necklace is constructed in 18k yellow gold and suspends from a twisted vermeil choker fitted with an easy assemblage friction-clasp. Weighing 32.8g and measuring 16inches long with a Victorian pin-pendant measuring an additional 2.25inches long and 1.25inches wide, this versatile pendant is constructed with a discreet rear-mounted removable bail and a corresponding articulated jump-ring, collapsing to permit immediate flamboyant use as a lapel pin or florally inspired dress accessory. Centrally mounted with a 4mm diameter cultured half-pearl graded 'antique-cream' color and 'very good' nacre, this bi-toned polished rose gold and matte finished yellow gold pendant is centered with an octo-form petal shiny black-enamel memorial flower framed by a three dimensional halo wrapped with fine coiled rope in the form of Etruscan work. The overlapping perpendicular squares tell tales of cubism while this charming pendant holds on to its Victorian roots punctuated with black enamel telltale signs. A downward pointing pierced openwork triangular arrow connection is fronted by a spherical finial accentuated by paisley scrollwork.
