Although one can purchase a certified untreated, unheated natural Ruby, the heating of them is widely used and accepted while the enhancement process can improve the transparency and the color. This is usually done in sophisticated electric or gas furnaces at specific pressures and atmospheric conditions. Our Ruby Rings are mounted with stones from Burma , sometimes termed ?pigeon's blood', Madagascar and Thailand and are second only to diamonds in terms of hardness and durability.
