The Victorian diamond ring my husband recently ordered has arrived, and it's every bit as beautiful as your high/quality photos. Just spectacular, in fact. But being a careful person, I decided to see if an appraiser would confirm the appraisal documentation that came with my ring. After all, it's not every day a girl gets diamonds, and the Internet being the Wild West of retailing, one must be careful. So you know this is real, I'm going to name names here. I took my ring to Christina Harrington in Seattle. She's an accredited senior appraiser, American Society of Appraisers; a graduate Gemologist, Gemological Institute of America and also holds several other designations. As she had not heard of Fay Cullen she obviously doesn't know her and had no reason to be biased. Ms. Harrington took some time examining my ring and comparing it to the appraisal you provided, which included the size and grade of stones, vintage, metal, and concluded that your appraisal was absolutely accurate. (And interestingly, she said she loves old mine/cut diamonds, like the ones in my ring, because 'they have a lot of life.' No need to feel second rate because they're not modern brilliant cut // but they certainly are less expensive!) Needless to say, I'm very pleased with her report, as I am with my incredibly beautiful ring and your service. Would I purchase from again? Absolutely!
