This Vintage Engagement Ring with a diamond and emeralds is crafted in solid 18k yellow gold, weighs 6.8g and measures 10mm wide and 5mm deep. This elaborately designed and sumptuous vintage 1950's three-stone Engagement Ring of breath-taking aesthetic beauty exposes at the center a highly refractive 1.22ct oval-faceted diamond measuring 9mm long and 6mm wide, graded D color and SI3 clarity. Secured by quatrefoil prongs within an octagonal 'floating' frame, this eye-catching precious stone is embraced by a duo of oval-faceted emeralds measuring 7.5mm long and 5.5mm wide. These vivacious gemstones of lively luminosity show fine inclusions which are to be seen in most genuine and untreated emeralds. Rather than diminishing the value or the high regard in which lively emeralds are held, the evident but not individually visible inclusions bring life and depth of color, in so doing, enhancing the natural liveliness of these phenomenal stones. Hence the affectionate and poetical term 'jardin' adopted by French gemologists for any fine inclusion, fissure or other signs of turbulent genesis which characterize this unique gemstone.
