Hollow chunky rose-gold Retro Rings typically set with rubies was a bold style well suited to the women in the 1940's who had taken over jobs left by men called to arms. These progressive women wore tailored suits, knee-length skirts and comfortable shoes, more appropriate for their jobs in commerce and industry.
